My stay at The Vintage Hotel & Spa was mixed. On the one hand, the staff were incredibly helpful and the location was perfect for exploring Lisbon without the noise of the city. On the other hand, I found some aspects disappointing, like the limited access to the spa and the rooftop bar being under refurbishment during my visit. Overall, it felt like a decent four-star hotel rather than a luxurious five-star experience.

Rooms
6.0
I found the superior room quite basic and dark, lacking the expected charm of a five-star accommodation. The lighting in the bathroom was particularly poor, making it hard to see.
Service
7.0
While the staff were friendly and welcoming, there were instances of miscommunication, especially regarding spa access which left me frustrated.
Location
8.0
The central location was a highlight for me, making it easy to walk to Bairro Alto and other hotspots without the hustle and bustle.
Dining
7.0
I enjoyed the breakfast variety, but I was disappointed by the lack of appeal in the evening dining options. The complimentary snacks in the lobby were a nice touch.
Facilities
6.0
Though the spa facilities had set hours and the rooftop bar was closed, I appreciated the other amenities like the complimentary mini bar in my room.

The Vintage Hotel & Spa in Lisbon offers a unique blend of mid-century modern style and a fantastic location, making it a nice place to stay. While the spacious rooms and stunning rooftop views are definite highlights, I found some aspects, like the air conditioning and the small size of the spa, to be quite problematic. Overall, if you're okay with some quirks in the experience, it could still be a great choice for exploring the city.

Rooms
5.0
I did appreciate the unique decor in my room, but it felt somewhat dark and lacked the comfort I expected. The air conditioning also made it hard to get a good night's sleep.
Service
8.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which definitely made my stay more enjoyable. However, the check-in process felt a bit chaotic, and I found myself confused at times with available amenities.
Location

The hotel's location was perfect, nestled in a quiet area yet surrounded by many attractions. I enjoyed being able to explore the city easily on foot.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was decent, but I expected more variety for a place of this caliber. The limited options could definitely be improved.
Facilities

The rooftop bar has stunning views, but I faced issues with the spa being small and requiring bookings. It was quite crowded, making it hard to enjoy.

I had a rather mixed experience at The Vintage Hotel & Spa. While there were definitely some highlights like the friendly staff and comfortable beds, I was disappointed by the limited access to the spa and the roof-top bar being under refurbishment. The location was great, close to key areas in Lisbon, which I appreciated, but the basic room amenities didn't meet my expectations for a five-star hotel.

Rooms
6.0
The room was quite basic and dark, lacking the comfort I expected from a five-star hotel. The lighting in the bathroom area didn't help, making it difficult to get ready in the mornings.
Service

The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. They really made an effort to cater to my needs, which added a personal touch to my stay.
Location
9.0
I loved the central location as it was within walking distance to many attractions and the Bairro Alto district. It made exploring Lisbon very convenient.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast was impressive with a good variety, but I felt that the overall dining options in-house could be improved to better match the five-star standard.
Facilities
6.0
While the spa facilities offered some relaxation, the restrictions on usage times were frustrating. The roof-top bar had great views, but it was under renovation during my stay.

My stay at The Vintage Hotel & Spa Lisbon had its ups and downs. While the interior design and spacious rooms were good and the breakfast was really good, I was disappointed by some communication issues with the staff and a few room-related inconveniences. The rooftop bar offered stunning views but was sometimes unavailable for guests. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, but there's room for improvement. 🌟🍽️

Rooms
5.0
I found my room to be spacious and stylish, with a chic mid-century decor. However, there were some misses: the bathroom floor was dangerously slippery, and the separate beds made for a less comfortable experience. A bit more maintenance, especially with small repairs like paint touch-ups, would help enhance the overall feel.
Service
5.0
The staff were friendly and always willing to assist with queries, and I appreciated the WhatsApp service for managing reservations and requests. However, I encountered poor communication when asking about spa facilities, which created frustration during my visit.
Location
9.0
The hotel is located in a lovely area, balancing accessibility and tranquility. It was a short walk to all the major attractions, but I still felt a sense of peace away from the tourist crowds, making it ideal for exploring Lisbon.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast at the hotel was a highlight, offering high-quality options that truly set the day off right. The rooftop bar had a romantic ambience and delicious cocktails, although it was a letdown when it was rented out for private events.
Facilities
6.0
I enjoyed the variety of spa services offered, particularly the massages. While the room service was convenient, I would have liked more transparency about available wellness facilities. The amenities like Nespresso machines added personal touches to the experience.

Staying at The Vintage Hotel & Spa Lisbon was truly a nice experience. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable during my stay, particularly as I was 34 weeks pregnant. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, offering a full cooked menu and great ambience. However, I did find the bed to be quite firm, which may not suit everyone.

The service was really good, with staff anticipating my needs and even surprising us with a birthday cake for my boyfriend. They were very friendly and attentive throughout our stay.
Location

Situated at the top of Barrio Alto, the location was great for exploring Lisbon's vibrant atmosphere. However, the steep hills may be a challenge for those with mobility issues, so considering transport options is wise.
Dining

Breakfast was wonderful, offering a variety of options in a lovely setting. The rooftop bar also provided a fantastic experience to unwind with cocktails while enjoying the views.
Facilities

The spa was a lovely retreat, but the limited time allowed for use was a bit restrictive. The facilities overall were clean and well-maintained, contributing to a relaxing atmosphere.
